School Zone

Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria.
Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined based on your permanent residential address.

Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and may enrol at another school, if there are available places.

2027 Foundation (Prep) enrolments

All Victorian government primary schools follow the statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline.  The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child at a Victorian government primary school.

You will be able to apply to enrol your child in Foundation (Prep) 2027 at Bell Park North Primary School from Monday 20th April 2026.

What you need to do:

1. Contact our school office on (03)5278 3548 to book an optional school tour or to learn more about our school and the enrolment application process.
2. Download the Foundation (Prep) enrolment information pack from Enrolling in Foundation (Prep)
   (available by Monday 20th April 2026). This pack includes guidance on the application process. If you have any questions about the online enrolment process, please contact our school. Paper enrolment application forms are also available on request.
3. Submit an enrolment application for Foundation (Prep) by Friday 31st July 2026.
4. You will be notified of the outcome of your application between Monday 3rd August and Friday 14th August 2026.
5. If you receive an enrolment offer, you should contact our school to accept the offer by Friday 28th August 2026.
6. Take part in school transition sessions during Term 4, 2026.
7. Prepare your child to start Foundation (Prep) from Friday 29th January 2027.

Enrolment applications submitted after 31st July 2026 will be processed by our school as they are received, in accordance with the department’s Placement Policy.

Expression of Interest For Enrolment Process Years 1 - 6

Our school follows the Department of Education’s Enrolment Policy for the enrolment, placement, and transfer of students.

Students who live within the school zone are guaranteed a place at our school. To find out whetheryou live in zone, visit findmyschool.vic.gov.au

All other applications will be considered subject to available space, and prioritised according to:

1. students with a sibling at the same permanent address who are attending the school at the same time
2. all other students in order of closeness of their home to the school.

Required documents

Required documentation includes:

• Completed enrolment form
• Evidence of identity and date of birth (for example, a birth certificate or passport)
• Immunisation Status Certificate

You will also be required to provide information about:

• your contact details
• emergency contact details
• health information about your child (such as allergies or illnesses they need to manage)
• other legal orders relating to your child and their welfare (if any)
