School Zone

Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria.
Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined based on your permanent residential address.

Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and may enrol at another school, if there are available places.

2026 Foundation (Prep) enrolments

The Departmentof Education has released the statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline for the 2026 school year.
The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian government primary school, including Bell Park North Primary School.

All government primary schools will follow the timeline in 2025 to support Foundation (Prep) enrolments for the 2026 school year.

You will beable to apply to enrol your child in Foundation (Prep) 2026 at Bell Park North Primary School from 22 April 2025.

What you need to do:

1. Contact our school office on (03)5278 3548 to book a school tour or to learn more about our school and the enrolment application process.
2. Download the Foundation (Prep) enrolment information pack from Enrolling in Foundation (Prep)
   (available by 22 April 2025). This pack includes an application form, which you can also request from our school.
3. Submit an enrolment application for Foundation (Prep) by Friday 25 July 2025.
4. You will be notified ofthe outcome of your application between Monday 28 July and Friday 8 August 2025. If you receive an enrolment offer, you should contact our school to accept the offer by Friday 22 August 2025.
5. Take part in enrolment information and transition sessions during Term 4, 2025.
6. Prepare your child to start Foundation (Prep) from Wednesday 28 January 2026.

Enrolment applications submitted after 25 July 2025 will be processed by our school as they are received, in accordance with the department’s Placement Policy.

Expression of Interest For Enrolment Process Years 1 - 6

Our school follows the Department of Education’s Enrolment Policy for the enrolment, placement, and transfer of students.

Students who live within the school zone are guaranteed a place at our school. To find out whetheryou live in zone, visit findmyschool.vic.gov.au

All other applications will be considered subject to available space, and prioritised according to:

1. students with a sibling at the same permanent address who are attending the school at the same time
2. all other students in order of closeness of their home to the school.

Required documents

Required documentation includes:

• Completed enrolment form
• Evidence of identity and date of birth (for example, a birth certificate or passport)
• Immunisation Status Certificate

You will also be required to provide information about:

• your contact details
• emergency contact details
• health information about your child (such as allergies or illnesses they need to manage)
• other legal orders relating to your child and their welfare (if any)
